Sample report

This is what “explained in plain English” looks like.

An example of the report you'd see in your KnowLuna account after the AMH and fertility panel. Every number sits next to what it means, and a doctor talks it through with you afterwards.

AMH and fertility panel
Example patient, 34 · Collected day 3 of cycle · Illustrative example, not real results
Example
Your doctor's summary. "Overall this is a reassuring picture. Your ovarian reserve is where we'd expect for your age, and the hormones that run your cycle look well balanced. One thing to keep an eye on: your thyroid reading is a touch above the usual range. It isn't a cause for alarm, but it's worth repeating in six to eight weeks so we can see whether it settles or needs a closer look. Let's talk it through."
AMH
14.2 pmol/L
LowerHigher
Typical for your age

What it is: anti-Mullerian hormone, an indicator of how many eggs remain. What yours says: in the range we'd expect for someone in their mid-thirties. What it doesn't say: anything about egg quality, or whether or when you'll conceive.

FSH
6.1 IU/L
In range

What it is: the brain's signal telling your ovaries to grow a follicle each month. What yours says: a normal day-3 reading, which means your ovaries are responding readily to that signal.

LH
4.8 IU/L
In range

What it is: the hormone that triggers ovulation mid-cycle. What yours says: a normal baseline, and in a normal relationship to your FSH.

Oestradiol
165 pmol/L
In range

What it is: your main oestrogen, made by the growing follicle. What yours says: appropriately low early in the cycle, which is what lets us trust the FSH reading above.

TSH
4.6 mIU/L
Slightly above range

What it is: thyroid-stimulating hormone. When it's high, the brain is asking a slightly sluggish thyroid to work harder. What yours says: a little above the usual range. Mild readings like this often settle on repeat, and thyroid function matters for cycles and pregnancy, so we recheck rather than guess. Next step: repeat TSH in 6 to 8 weeks.

Prolactin
290 mIU/L
In range

What it is: a hormone that can suppress ovulation when raised. What yours says: normal, so it isn't interfering with your cycle.

Illustrative example only. Values, ranges and commentary are invented to show the format and are not real patient results. Reference ranges vary between laboratories and depend on age, cycle day and other factors; your doctor interprets your results against the range reported by the laboratory that processed them.

Every KnowLuna panel comes with a report like this, and a doctor to talk it through.
